Tobacco Cessation

Dr. Rimjhim has a Masters Degree in Oral Medicine and runs a Tobacco Cessation Clinic certified by the IDA (Indian Dental Association).

She is an expert at Oral Cancer Screening and Tobacco Cessation and has done extensive studies on Smoking and Tobacco and their ill effects on Oral and Dental Health. She is also undertaking a research and advocacy program on the efficacy of e-cigarettes and vaping as a cessation tool.

She has screened several patients with oral cancer and pre-cancerous conditions. If you or anyone in your family are/is in the habit of smoking or using tobacco in any form, then, an Oral Cancer Screening is strongly advised.

Dr. Rimjhim always focusses on early screening of Cancer, especially in those persons (heavy tobacco users or smokers) who are at high risk of developing Cancer. Early Screening and Detection can avoid certain unfortunate implications that could be fatal and life-threatening.
